We are seeking an expert with a deep understanding of the mobile advertising ecosystem to serve as the 'architect' of our ad revenue streams. You will not only execute technical setups but also shape sustainable growth strategies, optimizing the balance between user experience and profitability for Athena's top game titles
I. KEY JOB DUTIES
1. Monitoring & Analysis: Track, analyze, and report on key daily metrics such as ROAS, ARPDAU, LTV, eCPM, Fill Rate, and Impressions for key game titles.
2. Revenue Optimization:
Manage and optimize the performance of our ad network partners. Directly set up and fine-tune ad waterfalls and conduct A/B tests to maximize revenue.
Take full accountability for Price Floor strategies and ad layering to maximize competition among Network partners.
3. Product Thinking & Strategic Consulting:
Act as a strategic advisor to the Product and Game Design teams from the early stages of development to create innovative ad ad formats (placements, formats, frequency) naturally and effectively to grow revenue without negatively impacting user retention.
Deeply analyze the impact of advertising on Retention and Churn rates to ensure long-term Lifetime Value (LTV) growth.
4. Strategic Partner Management:
Negotiate preferential terms and gain early access to Beta features from major partners
Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with ad network and publisher partners.
5. Forecasting & Troubleshooting: Evaluate, anticipate, and identify potential issues affecting ad revenue and proactively implement solutions.
6. Market Research & Intelligence: Continuously research the market, monitor new advertising trends in the mobile gaming industry, and track competitor activities to implement best practices.
II. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT / SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES
EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:
More than 5 years of experience in a similar role (e.g., Ads Monetization, User Acquisition, Performance Marketing…).
Solid knowledge of the mobile game market, especially the Free-to-Play (F2P) model and performance marketing techniques.
Hands-on experience with major Ad Network and Mediation platforms (e.g., Google AdMob, IronSource, AppLovin MAX, etc.).
An understanding of game economy and how advertising impacts user behavior is a strong plus.
SKILL:
Toeic >700, fluent in English (both written and verbal) for effective communication with international partners.
Excellent data analysis skills: Proficient in analyzing key metrics (Impressions, Fill Rate, eCPM, ARPDAU) and capable of translating data into actionable insights and recommendations.
Strong coordination skills, with the ability to sync tasks and information across multiple teams (Product, Marketing, Tech).
