I. KEY JOB DUTIES
Game artist (80%):
Design visuals, colors, layout, and characters for the game.
Design user interface (UI) and ensure game consistency.
Work closely with team members, ensuring project timelines and optimizing quality within deadlines.
Stay updated with trends, themes, and new styles.
Provide visual direction for the product to meet market needs.
Ability to create game concepts, sketching, etc.
Contribute ideas to improve the product.
Organize, arrange, and manage the image library for the team.
Knowledge in optimizing images, sizes, and dimensions to enhance visual quality.
Support exporting images/animations for Unity engine.
Game Animator & VFX (20%):
Research and design visual effects to optimize user experience.
Use tools like Spine/AE to create effects for the game and assist with exporting effects into the Unity engine.
Optimize existing visual effects to enhance product performance, such as FPS, game size, etc.
II. EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT / SKILLS / ATTRIBUTES
KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge and passion for game development.
Strong technical foundation in visual and user experience.
In-depth understanding of design, visuals, colors, and user psychology.
Knowledge of design language: materials, color, space, lighting, depth, movement, etc.
Knowledge of concepts and environment design.
Knowledge of 2D animation effects.
UX knowledge and certification are advantageous.
Understanding of game genres and trends is a plus.
Familiarity with 3D graphics and 3D tools like Blender is a plus.
SKILL:
Strong drawing skills, ability to visualize and design digital imagery, and illustrate from specific ideas.
Proficiency in design tools (Photoshop, AI, Spine, etc.).
Ability to set visual direction or continue existing projects while ensuring game consistency.
Adaptability to continuous changes in product development.
Capability to handle various project stages from concepts, UI, logos, icons, etc., for games.
Research skills and the ability to provide solutions for visual, motion, and effect-related challenges.
Ability to write, read and understand English is a plus.
5+ years of experience as a Game Artist.
3+ years of experience in Animation & VFX is a plus.
Ability to use Unity engine is a plus.

Ability to adapt to various art genres, themes, and styles.
Organizational and analytical ability, and problem-solving skills.
A strong interest in Puzzle, Casual games art is a plus.
A love of playing mobile games and sensitivity to the user experience is a plus.
Strong Emotional Intelligence is a big plus.
